Everything was done over the phone, I didn't even have the product number but the gentleman was able to help me figure out what remote I needed and when it got here and it worked perfectly without any set up. The remote had one button that was bad. (Mute button) I could have returned it because I chose not to. It works but it is level with enclosure. I can live with it.

We have only one little complaint. They switched the mute button and it's very hard to use it. It's our favorite button.

I have purchased one remote before. It worked great and I broke it. So I bought another and it is better than the 1st. The price is reasonable and good quality. The delivery was ahead of schedule and all went smooth. I would do it all again for another.

Looks very similar to original Sony remote. A few buttons slightly different, but easy to use. Lightweight, works immediately from the package. No set up Required. Yay! Knocked it down to 3 stars because: Mute button(the second most important next to on/off!) a) is located at the very bottom left and is hard to reach. Throws the balance of the remote off. And b)got stuck in the depressed position the first day! We cannot unstick it. It still works if you use the edge of your nail to probe it, but sometimes requires several tries to make it work. Honestly...! Debating whether to return it. I'd get a different brand next time.

buttons are very small , should have small fingers to match them. Needs to have a laser pointer on it, so you can point at the right spot on the TV easily.

The buttons aren't real responsive. Sometimes you have to push it twice for it to take. But so far it works ok.

Received one that had issues, but Dan's Electronics replaced it free of charge and shipping cost and it works great. My Sony Bravia was bought in 2006 and there are buttons on the remote that are for newer TVs and not usable. The one thing that the remote has that others seem to be missing is the decimal point for digital channels.

Product works as advertised. Little concerned because I rexeived a second unordered same remote 5 weeks after first one arrived. Both have one defect, the "switch to previous viewed channel" button is depressed in on both units. Doesn't want to pop out. Otherwise remotes do all as advertised and specifically it does give one access to tv's menu system.

I would rate product 5 starts and didn't only for the reason: Once you drop it, the whole thing falls apart (it is cheaply made hence the low price). I tried to put it back together but couldn't. So my suggestion is find 3 places where you can put tape on it both left side and right side. I did on the top, middle and bottom. I accidently dropped it again a few days later and it held together! So the big pluses are: Great customer service and the remote works beautifully. Another note, I would be willing to pay a little more if it were built more sturdy. Maybe on a carpeted floor it wouldn't fall apart but I have hardwood floors throughout.

I am thrilled with the replacement remote I purchased. It has my TV working as it did when new. If I had not replaced the original remote with the Anderic RRYD023 I would have had to purchase a new TV. The only bad part was that if I had not kept the original TV instruction manual which had instructions for the original remote I wouldn't have known how to proceed. I'm a happy camper!!!!!

Well, yep, it works. Whoever decided to make the jump button too low/short really wanted to make the device as much like the original sony remote to the extreme of even including the fault as well! Just don't cut your fingernails too short ha ha ha........

Haven't had it too long but so far it is working great!

I had ordered a rmydo34 because that is the one i know .I have failing sight so this causes a problem .The one supplied is a RR-YD023.It has a different layout and the buttons are much smaller making it difficult to operate.I did call customer service and he explained that the YDO 34 is no longer available I guess I'll have to get a larger magnification glass.

While it wasn't exactly a one-for-one replacement for my remote, it seems to control everything. The only complaint is that the mute button is essentially recessed and you have to use your fingernail to press it. The other button labeled "Jump" sticks up and can be easily pressed. The mute button should also stick up as far as the "Jump" button. In fact, it was my mute button on my original remote that caused me to have to find a replacement. Other than that, the service was quick and efficient.

I had been using a hd converter box even though I did not need to with this tv.That remote stopped working so I disconnected the converter. The Sony remote stopped working and I was trying to get by with the dvd remote. Finding your company was very timely. The remote works great and the cost was very fair. This remote replaced a damaged factory original for all my HD TV's functions. Forethought warned that this unit controlled the TV only which prevented any disappointment once I received it. Good feel to the push buttons whose layout matched the most frequently used functions of the factory remote. I'd recommend this product to a friend on it's value alone.

I really don't use the remote as much as I have Direct TV and utilize their remote for most functions. Unfortunately some functions of the TV remote needed to be used and that is why I needed a replacement. Worked as well as the original. Excellent company to do business with.
