QUESTION  1.  I was mailed a different remote than what I ordered.

ANSWER: Many remotes are compatible, if the remote you were sent has a different name or looks a little different, it is because we were either sold out of the one you ordered or we no longer can get the remote you ordered.  Many manufacturers have several brands of the same remote, like RCA & PROSCAN or EMERSON & BROKSONIC.  Most all of the remotes are made in Korea, Malaysia or China. All remotes are made the same way with the big exception being the style or number of keys.  Some generic remotes may be made by the same company as the original but they are forbidden to use the original name due to trademark laws.  So the generic will be cheaper because you are not paying for the Name.  If the remote you received was the wrong remote than what you ordered.  Please mail it back with a note and we apologize for the mistake. All remotes are guaranteed for 60 days.  If you receive a  remote other than what you ordered and you are not happy with it, you can return it for a full refund. 

QUESTION 2.  I can't find my exact remote will a similar one work?

ANSWER: Most all similar remotes are compatible.  Some remotes that look the same without the PIP (picture in picture) still will operate the PIP though it is not marked for PIP.  Many remotes that are similar may have a button or two that is missing or have a few extra buttons. The remote will work all the functions on your unit and sometimes a few extra functions that you were not aware of without the remote with the extra buttons.  The extra buttons may not work any functions on your unit because your unit is not equipped with the circuitry for those buttons.  

QUESTION 3.  I am not happy with my remote, how can I return it?

ANSWER:  If your remote is not working or you are not happy, you can return the remote within 60 days by sending a note with the reason you are not satisfied to:

Compatibility issues and cosmetic or shipping damage claims must be made within one week of reciept.
Any remote not containing our mark or security sticker will not be eligable for return.
Shipping and handling charges will apply for any original remote returned for any reason

QUESTION 4.   I  have a model number but I lost my remote and can't find it on your website. How can I make sure I am getting the right remote?

ANSWER:  At this time we cannot cross reference your remote.  You can try our link to www.worldwideremotes.com and they offer a cross reference.  There is also a link for cross referencing on our Sony and Panasonic page for those remotes.  Another way to find the remote from a part number is call your manufacturer.  Remember all remotes similar are usually compatible and should work for you.

QUESTION 5.  Your site say's the remote I want is substituted by another remote.  How can I see what the substitute is?

ANSWER:  All Substitute numbers and prices are also pictured on the website. Please look before emailing.
