Actually, I haven't seen it yet in person, but I trust it is fine. I sent it to a tenant of ours and was able to tell her over the phone how to set the dip switches, and it worked first time. Good delivery.
By the way, I had to change the dip switches because we own a town home, and some neighbor had some device causing our ceiling fan to turn on from their town home. The tenant would come home at night, and the fan would be on. As soon as I changed the dip switches away from the default settings, the problem stopped.
If you have multiple remote control fans in your home, you will need to set them to different dip switch settings. Otherwise, if you leave them all at default, you can turn your fan on downstairs, and it will turn it on upstairs as well. Every time in our case.
