Very happy the the remote I purchased, so far it working just as good as the original equipment.
Very good replacement for the original remote control. All the functionality is there. The only issue I have had is that the sound field buttons (such as Jazz / Rock / Movie 1) work however, the labels on the remote do not correspond to the effect on my Yamaha receiver. I rarely use them anyhow...
I like the fact it's light weight it turns on my tv as well without any programming of the remote. So far it's working very well.

works like the original out of the box. my old one finally stopped working completely but actually did not work well the past 5 years but i lived with it not knowing a new one would fix poor signal. it used to be so frustrating trying to point at the right angle to make it work. this one just works
Works great and was cheaper than the original one. Buttons are a little small. Only con I have. At my age small print is getting harder to see. Not the fault of the remote. Just old duffer setting in. I just push the bifocals up a bit and good to go. Thank you for your decent price and quick shipping.

I received my item today 22/02/2021, I was a bit skeptical about ordering from an overseas store specially when I am in Australia but I'm glad I did, remote works perfectly from the moment I took it out from packaging and put batteries on it just work just like the original one, I'm very happy with the quality and feel of the buttons it even has a light on the top which blink when I press any button, thank you Dan's for an excellent service ????
Searching for the remote at Dan's site was easy. The factory remote for my receiver was not available. Enough info for the "Anderic" substitute was supplied by Dan's website. I felt comfortable ordering it. It arrived in a reasonable amount of time. I slapped a couple batteries into it, pointed at the receiver and it worked like a charm. No programming needed!

I am giving a 4 star rating to this device. It communicated perfectly out of the box to my YAHAMA RX661 RECIEVER. I can select my tv, tuner, dvd and cd player audio to work thru the reciever/amplifier. Even the tuners' pre-set radio stations functioned properly. I do not use it to control any other devices (such as powering them on/off, skip disk, tv channels) so I cannot comment on that functionality. There were two functions lacking, namely selecting the 7ch / 2ch stereo and lack of an "7ch/2ch enhancer ". That is why no 5 star rating ... but 4 1/2 stars if I could choose so!

Unit works with our 20 year old Yamaha receiver right out of the box. Did not have to do a thing except install batteries. (Wish the red letters on the top were a little easier to read though. I need to put on my reading glasses, but all the others are white or yellow and stand out much better than red on black.

A slightly smaller but chunkier unit to my original Yamaha remote, but hey, what can one expect? It's replacing a contoller for a unit purchased in 2004! It works, the buttons are in the same place and of a better quality than the original unit (the on/off button was always particularly temperamental!) Delivery - considering the present climate (2020 Covid19) - ordered mid-May from the US and received Down Under at the end of 1st week of June 2020, I was expecting at least another month, what with quarantining and travel restrictions. It was amusing seeing the travel of the unit through the US whilst tracking it. Thank you and all the best!
This remote feels a little cheap but it gets the job done on my Yamaha receiver It controls most of the functions on the receiver but not all ..this remote gets the job done !!And overall as a good buy for $21.60 Not like the original remote but it works fine...??

The remote arrived on time and does what we need it to do. Only reason not 5 stars is that the battery cover is loose and comes off every time you pick up the remote. Annoying.
We have had the controller for a week or 2 and seems to work well and seamlessly with our Yamaha. I have paired it with my Vizio TV, I can control volume & on/off, but the input doesn't work. So a little disappointment there. The size of the remote it is a bit on the wide. So if you have small to medium size hands it will feel a bit over sized. For the price not to shaby. It does what it is supposed to, which is the remotely control my reciever.

We were very disappointed original remote control no longer functioned. But, we didn't know that until we had to turn in Bright House / Spectrum remote due to changing over to WOW Cable/Internet service. Does not work to replace the RAV311 Yamaha original. Everything functioned properly except the Power button. The original I was replacing Power button worked fine. My volume and channel select did not work. Service was excellent and good communications between us. Leon Earwood

This remote worked flawlessly! My original remote lost functionality on some of the buttons. I took it out of the box, loaded the AAA batteries and it worked! All of the functionality I had with the original remote is available on this one. The customer service is exceptional. This remote worked excellent for my Yamaha receiver. Didn't need to search for a code because it was already fixed for my unit.
I got the remote 'cuz the mute and down volume on my Yahmaha one stopped working, and this one works as it should. We shall see how long it does, as that really is the question as to if it will be a good one or not. All the buttons are on this new one as was on the old ones and they all work also, so I can switch between different devices. So far, so good. We'll see in one year, and five years.
Seems to work like my original remote right out of the box. It seems do have a few more features that I find helpful in it.
