After the older Onkyo stereo receiver was bricked by the Auto Mute somehow kicked in. It was passed on to me with no remote. I had my doubts but this remote mute button just saved me from having to buy a new stereo. Thanks!

My Onkyo remote has gotten oxidized, so the volume button is only partially working. So I got this "close" replacement. I only wish it were cross manufacturer compatible so I could control my Sony tape decks and CD players. A programmable version would be great.

The unit works fine, but is far more complicated than the original for my simple STEREO Onkyo TX8210 Receiver -amp. Apparently it is designed to run everything Onkyo ever made. Also it would be nice if the unit were labeled with the Onkyo name, rather than "ANDERIC", which is useless in identifying what this remote controls when there are several remote controls in a system. The unit did solve my problem, was priced appropriately and it is working well. Thank you.

Simply putting it, it works for my application. It controls the volume and input selection for my Onkyo stereo P301 preamp, which is what I wanted. In that way, it takes the place of the unavailable RC-200s remote that came with the P301. It also has a bunch of other buttons that are not applicable for my simple use, it looks like it was really designed for an early 5.1 receiver, and can probably control Onkyo tape decks, FM tuner presets and CD pllayers made in the late 1990s or early 2000s.

I've never filled out a rate form i think its a waste of time.....however in very impressed with this item.......it literally worked directly from the pack......insert the batteries and on it went..... Great bye....

My Onkyo remote broke years ago. This one is very reminiscent of it. It works perfectly right out of the box, no programming required. I purchased two of them. Just in case one stops working prematurely or if they possibly stop manufacturing them. I would purchase again.

Don't know if my comments went through go again. Works great, but didn't give it 4 stars for two reasons: The "CD Direct" button is missing. Not a big deal, when starting to listen to CD I'm at the amp anyway. Would be nice if an unused button such as "multi-ch in" would serve that function. The black on purple writing of the "input selection" section is hard to read in low ambient light. No big deal, will soon memorized the function of those keys. Overall, nice unit.

Sorry I took so long to respond but I finally got the batteries and then I finally had time to respond. What I can say is that it definitely turns my old stereo on and off and it is able to turn the volume up and down but I have not taken time to see if I can use the same instructions for the remote that came with my unit for the Anderic yet but eventually I will. I am pleased with this remote and If I buy anything else from you I hope you will allow me to use the 5% discount since I was not able to use it for the purchase of the Anderic remote. The remote is easy to use you just push the power button and it comes on the stereo and push the volume button up or down to increase or decrease the sound. I'm very happy I bought it. Thank you!

The remote works fine and all the functions also work. It is easy to use and the buttons operate easily. One suggestion I would make is that part of the remote has purple background with black text making it a bit difficult to read. I would suggest a lighter colored background on this part of the remote. Other than this minor issue I am very happy with this product.

The remote seems to be of good quality. We only use it to turn the receiver on and off. The rest of the stereo components that it is meant to control are long gone. So I can't say whether the remote does everything it is supposed to and does it well. If someone needs a remote for an older receiver that won't connect to a generic remote, then this is the place to search.

My only 'criticism' of the product is it's weight/heft. I would have preferred it weigh a little more. I like its functionality, but the printing could be a little easier to read. The choice of colors for the label was not a wise one.

This product controls a 20 year old Onyko Receiver / Amplifier. The original remote control failed. When we enterted the Model number of the old remote, your website told us it had been discontinued, but offered a newer product that was compatible with our Rec. / Amp. It IS compatible.

I use it as a replacement RC for my old Onyko AV 810 Pro. This unit is for those with worn out RC's for that unit. I recommend it!
