Terrific remote control! I've owned my ceiling fan for over 11 years and when the fan and lights started malfunctioning, I bought a new receiver, as well as a new capacitor. Both did not solve the problem of the fan not coming on the lights shutting off suddenly. This remote was my last ditch effort before buying a new ceiling fan... and it WORKED! The best investment ever and next time, I'll start with buying the remote control first. It looks, and works, just like the original remote control.

Remote is great, however I couldn't remove the battery, the electrician tried but said leave it until it needs a new battery. My concern is what happens when I need to change the battery. Even though there was a little hiccup in the ordering, I find you very courteous, helpful, and pleasant to work with.

Aside from wishing these remotes were a bit smaller, they're all this way it seems, no matter the brand, the one I received to replace my factory remote is actually nicer in regard to the tactile feel of the buttons. And was nice that I didn't have to program it.

This remote was purchased to replace a Hampton Bay remote that one of my tenants broke. Remote works as expected once the dip switches are programmed to the correct frequency. Uses a 9V battery instead of the A23/23A that most of my remotes use, and I was a little afraid of breaking the 9V connector when I removed the battery. In the end, I was able to disconnect the battery without incident, it just felt a little fragile.
