This remote & a receiver are part of a kit sent to me for my Hampton Bay ceiling fan. It didn't work. Had been sent another remote before to replace the original, but thought I didn't need it & was going to return it. I actually like this remote better than the original one that came with the ceiling fan. The button that controls the upper & lower lights for both on/off & dimming work better. I always had to press hard & sometimes toggle the other buttons around differently to make it work. Great improvement!

This is an exact replacement of my fan remote. Works perfectly and I'm so pleased. If you think you need a replacement remote, do not move any of the four interior pins in the old remote thinking that would fix the problem. Doubt that it will but more importantly, the order of the pins has to be duplicated in the new remote. So I suggest taking a picture of the pins in the old remote before you change or toss the old one. Shall we say I speak from experience. But finally got the proper placement of the pins and it's perfect. Fast shipping. Great product!

I had a remote from a different fan that fit mine but did not have separate controls for the upper lights and lower lights, so I purchased this one. The remote arrived when promised, I adjusted the switches exactly as my last remote, popped in the battery and it worked perfectly, including the upper and lower lights (which is the reason I bought this). So far its working great.all I had to do was put batteries in it.

The remote was easy to program, and it looks very similar to the original, and yes, it does operate "most" of the fans functions. However, I was disappointed that it did not function exactly like the original. With the original remote, which I must assume was stock as it was here when we bought the house, the remote would allow for incremental dimming of the upper and lower lights with each button push. By contrast, this remote only turns the light full on or off, no dimming capability, hence a disappointment compared to expectations. If you have a similar setup, you may want to keep looking. It's better than nothing, but does not fully meet my needs nor expectations.

After receiving my product, I had a question,I called in and the gentleman assisting was not very friendly, was very impatient, was not in the mood to listen to my concern. Because I was not replacing the receive (in the fan itself) but only the remote, I had to find the DIP switch setting by trial and error. Just setting the settings to the same ones used in the old remote did not work. If my math is correct, there are 64 possible combinations; I had to test about a dozen before the remote worked. Anyway it is perfect now.

I use this remote with a Hampton Bay ceiling fan. The fan has an up and down light associated with it. I set the dip switches of the replacement to mimic the failed remote. The replacement worked first time. It controls fan speed and light on/off/dimmer. Very pleased.

When my Hampton Bay fan's remote failed I was concerned that the replacement was going to be costly. I searched the web and found replacementremotes.com. They had the BEST price anywhere and the remote replacement came to my home in less than a week. I matched the settings of the dip switches from my old to the new remote. Service is excellent although the Anderic remotes for the light (on and off) button is not easy to use. You have to press the bottom of the button to turn it on and off as well as adjust dim to bright. The top of the button does nothing.
