Did not realize the remote would not turn on the upper light for the Hampton Bay fan until I received it; this was not mentioned in product description. Unable to get the reverse fan motion to work. Worth the -/+ 40 bucks with shipping pst to have the fan working again, so appreciate that. Will never by another remote only operated fan, so folks should be aware that replacement remotes may not fully operate the style ceiling fan you use.

Worked great out of the box. Only issue is sometimes when you turn the light off it also reverses the fan? Other than that it works well on a $200 + Hampton Bay fan that the company discontinued making a replacement remote for.

After reading the site instructions about how to choose the correct remote, made my choice, & ordered. Arrived in a few days, and worked perfectly with my Gossomer Wind ceiling fan. Fan was over 15 years old. Very pleased with vendor!

With no instructions enclosed, it took some figuring... When I placed the batteries in the new remote, it lit up right away, but was not sending signals to the fan/light. I finally looked at the old remote and realized those 4 little buttons behind one of the batteries had something to do with it. 2 of the buttons had to be switched. So, let your customers know to keep the old remote and change those little buttons accordingly.

I did some trouble shooting with remote/ receivers that worked. Receiver not working. Order new parts. Got receivers first. Didn't work. Thought maybe I need a compatible remote. Ordered that. They didn't work together either.

I already replaced 4 originals with Anderic Remote RR7096TR and they work perfectly as. I recommend them 99 %. It's easy to use once you change and match the original codes with the ceiling fan. The Mega store that sold us the fans was negative in order to help.

You have to be very close to the fan for the commands to work but everything else seems in order.

It took some research to find the correct remote for the Windward2 fan I purchased over 10 years ago. There are 4 similar remotes but only one works for the Windward2; this site gave me a full explanation of the 4 similar remotes. The remote I purchased worked. I just got it last week so I don't have an assessment of long term reliability.

This was purchased as a replacement for a Hampton Bay remote. I wanted one that had a forward/reverse button, temperature control, several fan speeds and light dimming. The light dimming works but sometimes I have to press it more than once. Nevertheless I was very pleased with the remote. I've never used the temperature feature but I use the variable speed fan control every night. Works great! And the instructions were very clear. You have to match 4 little switches with the ones in the fan. I didn't want to take down the fan and tried all combinations until I found the right one. Would highly recommend.
