We purchased our Vizio tv a few years ago and we were never really cared for the remote that came with the tv from the manufacturer. The original remote seemed flimsy and the TV didn't line up very well with the signal put out by the remote. The "UP Volume" signal took a lot of time and patience, over a period of time. We thought about replacing it with a Universal remote rather than an exact replacement due to the problems. We took a chance on the Andeic replacement just to try it knowing we could return it if needed. We find the Anderic replacement to be a much better replacement of the remote. The Anderic quality is much better than the original. The Anderic remote is much sturdier on all of the buttons, not just the "UP volume" button. We will be keeping the new Anderic remote and if we drop it or break it, we know where we can order another good one. While the locations of the various function keys are considerably different from those of the original Vizio factory supplied unit, the RRVUR6 thus far appears to perform all the functions of the original VIZIO unit. The RRVUR6 appears to be a high quality unit. The unit's durability in normal use has yet to be tested. Thus far, I would give the RRVUR6 a high rating for quality of construction and functionality to anyone looking for a replacement remote device for their VIZIO TV. By accident, I found that the RRVUR6 also works on my VIZIO 42 model SV420XVT TV

The remote did have an upgraded design the only thing that didn't match up with the orginal remote was the keys on the remote didnt light up when pressed. That feature was nice for nightime use.

This remote replaced our OEM one that had been failing for close to a year. It has all the buttons needed and actually reorganized some of the key buttons to be more ergonomically available to your fingers. This remote is lighter than the OEM one, but definitely of like or higher quality. The response of the buttons is also very accurate. I'm thinking of ordering another one just in case.
