I can't tell if it works because the Dan's rep I spoke to didn't mention that this unit would require a Molex adapter in order to exactly replace my old unit. It's another ten bucks and several shipment days before I can finalize this installation.

Works as prescribed,but fan appears to slower ? But I guess slower is better than no fan at all in this heat

MY three Hampton-Bay ceiling fans are quite old but I like the full access of the of the remote control. so I must keep them running as long as I live. I don't know what I would do if you didn't have the replacement parts to keep us going. I am in my mid-80's, but I find the replacement parts easy to install... I thank you so very much. I replaced the receivers in two 15+ year old ceiling fans with these replacements and they both worked perfectly.

Component was a replacement. Compatibility was guaranteed and it was.

Don't try to use a universal remote in place of this unit. It works perfectly and besides, there is not enough wire lead to do so. What's more, the unit is cheaper than the universal. Make sure you don't forget to set proper remote codes and pull the antenna to the outside (of the receiver).

home replacement

I ordered the receiver although mine was the 7051R as reviewers said the G model worked. The G is larger in diameter and required me to cut off plastic tabs and the heat sinks that protruded from the housing. Electically it works and retains the last function allowing us to shut it off with the regular light switch.

This replaced the R model as someone on the chats commented. I only had to connect the two light wires to the light fixture. All controls on the old remote worked perfectly.

This item was a G type, the old one was a R type, and had a different number of pins populated in the 9-hole connector but still worked just fine.

This was a replacement receiver unit for a Hampton Bay 52 ceiling fan. It was an exact replacement for the burned out 9 year old unit. It is performing well and all functions of the fan work normally now. The delivery time exceeded my expectations and the price was 50% lower than on other sites.

I needed a receiver for an older Hampton bay ceiling fan(reverse, 3 speed, down lighting with dimming) I needed 7 pins in the connector but this one has 8 pins. The UC7051G accommodates the uplight feature which I do not have but this works perfectly for a 7 pin Hampton bay fan with the same style connector.

Product worked as advertised. Woould recomend this to anyone. Fixed the lighting problem i had and the fan is working as well
