This remote only works AT&T UVERSE boxes that reguires anywhere remote (RF remote). OR if you have the RF-D4 dongle installed in your equipment. This remote will not work AT&T uverse units that require a standard IR remote.

They say they are RF but instructions are for IR. I called and they were no help.
