It took awhile but my husband watched a video on how to make it work with our TV. It's a little different than our really old ones but they work great and we love them.

Works perfect just like the first 2 that eventually failed after a year or so. I just hope it lasts longer! Pity Dish doesn't carry a 10 year warranty on these things! How long does it take to get it right?

Not able to get all buttons to work. Called Dish, they are sending me another remote because with their help still not able to get mute, volume and tv power button to work. If the remote they send don't work i may need a new box. The guide, Recall, cancel and search buttons work fine.
