The replacement LC-RCRUS-17 remote will work right out of the package with no programming required. Simply insert 2 x AAA batteries (not included).
Important Note: Verify the part number on the remote inside battery compartment, some models have a 17 (LC-RCRUS-17) and some have a 16 (LC-RCRUS-16). These two remotes are different and are not interchangeable
