The fan had complety quit working so I figured it had to have been the remote receiver. If was installed and worked beautifully. The addition to a working fan completely changed the aura of the space it now hangs.

When I went to Home Depot where I bought the fan I was told they could not get the part and was sold a universal device. When I took the old controller out of the fan to replace I then had the part number and found the exact unit.
