The remote you sent to me was exactly like the old one I have. My son had programmed remotes for his garage door and he said the programming was the same. We were both so happy when we found all he had to do was to put in a battery and it actually worked from another room.

The quality of the product is very good, and I would recommend this site to anyone who needs a replacement remote for a ceiling fan. I actually bought mine as a second one to keep in the car because it's for a ceiling fan on the front porch. Now I can hit the button from the car and turn the front light on before I even get out of the car.

I replaced the remote but it did not help the problem with my fan. It's not a bad remote, its the wiring that has gone bad.
