I have not used the remote extensively yet. I previously had an "almost" identical one, & it served ME "Very Well". It later was broken, & I used alternate programmable remotes for quite some time before getting this one, to the end that I am just beginning to realize I have this remote and beginning to use it again. The remote is very useful in part to being able to control multiple devices!

Works as good or better than the original as soon as the batteries were installed. Very happy & half the price as same unit on Amazon.

Perfect replacement

It worked all of the Menu options and controls as soon as I put batteries in it for the TV it belongs to. I have not tried to program my DVD player into it yet as I have become very comfortable with the button location of the original. Most of the buttons are in logical places except for the button which is placed higher than the volume, channel return, and channel select. The remote does operate when reversed pointing away from the TV so channel and volume can be operated reversed by mistake if holding the remote backwards. I have not been able to activate the backlit feature to see the buttons in the dark yet. I had assumed it would operate as soon as any button was touched but I may have to refer to the downloadable manual for this product.

I got this remote to replace a Dynex . The only drawback is instead of individual buttons for the inputs I have to select input then scroll down to TV,aux,video,etc...Other than that it is a perfect replacement.

New remote works perfect. Just what the doctor ordered.

Great product. I had trouble finding a replacement remote. This remote is exactly the same as my original remote and has all the same functionality. Some replacement remotes I found where generic or didn't have all the functions that my original had.
