- Reset TV - Unplug the TV from the power source. Wait 5 - 10 seconds and plug the tv back in.
- Turn the TV on and allow it to boot up.
- Once the TV is booted up, press and HOLD the HOME key (on the remote) for up to 30 seconds. Keep pressing the HOME key until the TV pairs the remote.
Note: only one remote can be paired with the TV at a time.
- Your TV may instruct you that the remote needs an UPDATE. Just allow it to update, may take 1-3 minutes, and after your remote will work.
FAQ: My remote was working but then it stopped and it will now only do the power button. Answer: Follow the pairing instructions above.
The Anderic RRU401 will work (will not operate voice function). Simply program to Toshiba TV code 2678. (home button is the Guide button on Anderic)

It worked perfectly with my Toshiba 43"Amazon Fire TV, which I learned is made by Insignia.
I bought two different remotes on Amazon and neitheer worked, they would refuse to pair up, so both had to be returned. By contrast yours paired up the first time and also allowed me to keep my flaky OEM remote as backup. Yeah.
