It was an exact replacement (both layout and function)! It was a "special order" item and I received it in 8 days. I have since referred your website to a friend and he too received a replacement remote. If I need a replacement remote in the future, I would order it from Dan's Electronics.

The Perfect Remote for my 2 Magnavox DVD players.

The Remote is slightly different in finish on the outer cabinet from the original, the plastic has a slightly frosted finish. All of the functions work the same. Needed to replace the original remote because some of the buttons stopped working or became intermittent.

I was tired of using a keyboard fix liquid for my old remote. Having to tear it down and putting this liquid on the contacts, that weren't working, then about 3 months doing it all over again. I locate this site and ordered a replacement remote. This was back in March. I don't give reviews until I use the product for several months. Everything worked right out of the box as it should. No problems with the remote at all. I see some people have reduced their rating by one star because the layout of the buttons aren't identical to the original remote, that doesn't matter to me, just as long as all the buttons work. When you buy a new electrical item every remote is different from the old unit anyway.

My original remote was used heavily for 2+ years, with the OK button being the most-used button by far. The OK eventually got flakey and quit. The new remote works perfectly.
