I can't believe I wrestled with a universal remote as long as I did (cross referencing the symbols with what might work with the TV.) This is a BRAND NEW, original equipment remote, dedicated to this TV, at a reasonable cost! Should'a done this long ago!!! I now have a complete TV.., old, but complete!!! (And an added kicker.., it showed up on the third day!)

I took a chance and ordered a replacement remote control on a (at least) 17 year old Philips TV that is my bedroom TV that won't quit. That's right, the old fashion bulky heavier than you know what. I ordered what I was told was the new replacement remote the day before Thanksgiving. Imagine my surprise when I received my new updated remote the following Monday that works like a charm? We replaced our old Magnavox remote with the Philips remote on the recommendation of Replacement Remotes. It works perfectly and since it was guaranteed to work by the company, we are very pleased with the product. It's a much nicer remote than the one that came with the TV.

Missing some of the originals functions.

I use this product to replace a remote control for a TV. The volume down button would no longer work. I recommend this to anyone with the same situation or anyone whose remote just doesn't work properly. The quality is great too. I have had it for about 2 weeks now and have had no problems.
