Received in timely manner and works perfectly

Exact original remote for the SONY VCR. However could have gotten it for half the price on eBay. Should have looked there first.

I ordered two of these for two exact same VCR's that I still use. One works perfectly but the other has to be positioned just right in front of the VCR's to work. It does work but only if it is aligned just so. The other I give 5 stars. Works perfectly.

The remote works perfectly. I was hoping it would also allow us to access the closed captioning, but that apparently is not a feature of the machine itself.

Merchandise was as discussed on the phone and an exact match for the Sony remote I replaced. Patrick

I'm 70+ and yet mine lasted only 30 months, despite tender care and minimal use. I loved its many helpful functions. Too bad they were so short-lived. I'm told others have had a similar problem.
