Ordered two remotes for my Vizio TV and they worked right out of the box after I put Batteries in. These replaced old remotes that had seen their day. 5 Stars.

Worked fine as advertised. A direct replacement-remote number comparison would have made the process much clearer and easier. Your discount offer would have been better had it come BEFORE the sale. But, I've been screwed bigger than this and it works, so what the hell anyway.

So far the remote control works fine. The only thing I've used it for is to turn the t.v. off/on to play DVDs, and the volume up/down/mute. I've not tried to scan channels yet because I live in and area that gets no reception.

I ordered an exact replacement for my remote that was broken, and that's exactly what I received. It works as expected. Two things surprised me. One was that when I placed my order a message came up asking me to acknowledge that the remote didn't have a battery cover. That wasn't a problem for me because I still had the old, broken remote. But, when the remote arrived it had a battery cover - a pleasant surprise. Also, I ordered a Visio replacement remote, but it arrived with a sticker labeled REMOTE stuck where the name Visio was on my old remote - so I removed it and the new remote is exactly like my old remote.

I put my batteries in and I was able to turn the TV on and off. No programming needed.

turns on TV and sets the TV for cable or DVD player it is very important

Had to have the replacement once the pups had chewed the original and the tv was zoomed so much that watching it was not enjoyable and the Directv remote could do nothing to fix the problem. The replacement did not even have to be programmed. Put the batteries in and it worked! We love our Visio and will most likely get another when this one needs replacing
